If you need one Pattaya family hotel to start with, compare Grande Centre Point Space Pattaya and Grande Centre Point Pattaya. They had the top two guest review scores in this shortlist at lookup time, and both came with breakfast-included rates in our search. If you want short rides into town, look at Hotel Amber Pattaya or Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya. Ana Anan Resort & Villas Pattaya in Na Jomtien is the choice if you prefer a resort base farther from the centre.

Who this list is for

This guide is for parents comparing Pattaya family accommodation before they book, especially for a short break of a few nights. Every hotel here is 4-star or higher. Every one also had a breakfast-included rate in our search, so you have one less meal to plan each day with children.

So, is Pattaya good for families? It can be, if you choose your base with care. The city has beach districts, busy central streets and nightlife areas, so where you sleep shapes the trip. This list helps you match each hotel to the kind of family stay you have in mind.

How we picked these hotels

We used Agoda partner search data from October 15, 2026, for a two-night stay from November 15 to November 17, 2026, for two adults. We kept hotels rated 4-star or higher. Then we compared them on guest review scores, how many reviews each score is based on, distance from the city centre, breakfast, check-in times and the details each hotel lists.

There are two limits to keep in mind. First, our search was for two adults, so check child occupancy and family room availability with your own group size. Second, our data did not show scores from family travellers or children’s facilities such as kids’ clubs, children’s pools or slides, so check those on each hotel page. Current prices for every hotel are in the comparison table on this page. We may earn a commission when you book through our links. This does not change which hotels we include.

Where these hotels are in Pattaya

Here is the shortlist grouped by address:

  • Naklua (Na Kluea): Grande Centre Point Pattaya, 3.5 km from the centre.
  • Na Jomtien: Ana Anan Resort & Villas Pattaya, the farthest from the centre in this list.
  • Central Pattaya and Nongprue: Hotel Amber Pattaya on Pattaya 3rd Road, Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya in Nongprue and Siam At Siam Design Hotel Pattaya on Pattaya 2nd Road.
  • Sukhumvit Road: Centre Point Prime Hotel Pattaya, 5.6 km from the centre.

Our data did not include street addresses for Grande Centre Point Space Pattaya or Arbour Hotel and Residence Pattaya, so check where they are on the map before you book. If you want to keep children away from the late-night bar streets, look at the map around each hotel instead of relying on the area name.

The hotels

Grande Centre Point Space Pattaya: for families who put reviews first

At lookup time, this 5-star hotel had a 9.3 review score from 17,767 reviews, the highest score in our shortlist. It is 3.8 km from the city centre. The rate we found included breakfast, and Wi-Fi is free.

It suits families who care most about guest reviews and want a full-service hotel. There are some drawbacks. It was the most expensive hotel in our search. Our data also did not include its address or check-in times, so check those on the hotel page, along with pool and children’s facilities.

Grande Centre Point Pattaya: for a Naklua base with easy transfers

At lookup time, this 5-star Centre Point Hospitality hotel had a 9.2 review score from 24,053 reviews. Its address is in Na Kluea (Naklua), 3.5 km from the city centre. It opened in 2016, has 396 rooms and lists airport transfer booking, a tour desk, concierge, luggage storage and free parking.

It suits families who want the airport transfer sorted before they land and day trips booked through the front desk. Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is at noon. With 396 rooms, check the bed setup and maximum occupancy for each room you consider.

Ana Anan Resort & Villas Pattaya: for a resort stay away from the centre

At lookup time, this 5-star resort had an 8.9 review score from 16,108 reviews. Its address is on Soi Na Jomtien 20 in Na Jomtien. It opened in 2019, has 263 rooms and lists free Wi-Fi, free parking, a ticket service, concierge and laundry service.

It suits families who want a resort base and plan to spend most days at the property or get around by car. The downsides are distance and timing. It is the farthest hotel from the centre in this list. Check-in starts at 3 pm, later than the 2 pm check-in at the other hotels that list times. Check-out is at noon.

Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya: for families with older kids who want a central base

At lookup time, this 5-star hotel had an 8.7 review score from 14,531 reviews. Its address is in Nongprue, 2.3 km from the city centre, and the rate we found included breakfast. It opened in 2001, has 323 rooms and is listed as renovated in 2026. It offers airport transport, laundry service, free parking and safe deposit boxes.

It suits families with teenagers who want short taxi rides around town. It had the lowest review score in this shortlist at lookup time. The hotel lists a recent renovation, so ask whether any work will still be going on during your stay. Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is at noon.

Hotel Amber Pattaya: for the shortest ride into town

At lookup time, this 4-star hotel had an 8.8 review score from 12,202 reviews. At 1.4 km from the city centre, it is the closest hotel in this shortlist. It is on Soi Chaloem Phrakiat 21, Pattaya 3rd Road. Part of At Mind Group, it opened in 2019, has 222 rooms and lists airport transfers, taxi and car hire, a shuttle and free parking.

Choose it if you want quick trips to central sights. It had a lower star rating than most of this list at lookup time, yet it was one of the more expensive hotels in our search. Compare it with Arbour Hotel and Residence Pattaya, which is 1.8 km from the centre. Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is at noon.

Centre Point Prime Hotel Pattaya: for families watching the budget

At lookup time, this 5-star hotel had an 8.8 review score from 29,132 reviews, the most reviews of any hotel in our shortlist. It was among the cheapest hotels in our search. Its address is on Sukhumvit Road, 5.6 km from the city centre. It opened in 2018, was renovated in 2020, has 544 rooms and lists a laundromat, dry cleaning, taxi and shuttle services, and free parking.

The laundromat helps on longer family trips. The drawback is location: you will need taxis or the shuttle to reach the centre, so allow for travel time each day. Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out is at noon.

Arbour Hotel and Residence Pattaya had a 9.0 review score from 14,314 reviews at lookup time, the third-highest score in this list. It was among the cheapest hotels in our search and is 1.8 km from the centre. Siam At Siam Design Hotel Pattaya was a 4.5-star hotel at lookup time, with an 8.8 score from 23,244 reviews. It is on Pattaya 2nd Road, 3.0 km from the centre. Both had breakfast-included rates.

How to choose

  • Reviews first: Grande Centre Point Space Pattaya or Grande Centre Point Pattaya, which had the top two scores at lookup time.
  • Short trips into town: Hotel Amber Pattaya, Arbour Hotel and Residence Pattaya or Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya, all within 2.3 km of the centre.
  • Resort stay away from town: Ana Anan Resort & Villas Pattaya.
  • Lower prices in our search: Centre Point Prime Hotel Pattaya or Arbour Hotel and Residence Pattaya.
  • Arriving early: pick a hotel with 2 pm check-in, or ask about early check-in.

If pools, slides or a kids’ club are must-haves, narrow it down to two hotels and compare what each one offers on its hotel page, because our data does not cover these facilities.

Booking checklist for a Pattaya hotel family room

  • Free cancellation: check whether the rate is refundable and note the cancellation deadline in the hotel’s local time.
  • Taxes and fees: on the final booking screen, check that taxes and service charges are included in the total.
  • Room type: add every child and their age, then check the bed setup, maximum occupancy and whether an extra bed or cot is allowed. A room listed for two adults may not cover children.
  • Breakfast: check that breakfast covers every guest, including children.
  • Arrival day: plan your flight around the check-in time, and book an airport transfer if the hotel offers one.
